The Wick family has hit the jackpot! At last they have a new apartment with enough bedrooms to accommodate their wild bunch of children. They really appreciate the friendly and tolerant neighbours, with whom they can have a spontaneous chat in the arcade. Particularly practical is also the two-part living room and the generous kitchen, where not only cooking and eating take place, but is also where homework is done. The large dining table is therefore rarely used as a dining table and is mainly used to fold the laundry and for home office work.
Tobias and Gregor have recently founded a start-up. They produce music jingles for commercials. This can easily be done from home, which suits them very well in these difficult times. That's why they gave up their office and now work in one of the two rooms that looks like a recording studio, crammed with electronic equipment. They find relaxation with their plants, for which they have cleared the winter garden. It now looks like a small greenhouse, which the neighbourhood kids think is cool!

Meinrad is a pensioner and after the death of his wife, Gretel he managed to get one of the coveted flats in the high-rise building. He never thought he would move again. At first he was sceptical, but now everything feels much better. Of course, this has to do with the great view – but not only: recently he discovered the laundry room in the attic for himself. He spends a lot of time there, waiting for his laundry and also for Lena from the 9th floor, who is his age and exactly his type: she loves hiking in the Valais Alps, is (or rather once was) blonde and can listen to Dolly Parton for hours!
