Hardturm Park Hochhaus Ortho

Shaken and not stirred. The Tower. Hard Turm Park (BFC) residential high-rise, Zurich, Switzerland, 2007–2013

Together, they form a striking ensemble in the urban fabric, at a turbulent urban juncture:
Our robust cuboid, the Toni tower and the Migros high-rise disk.

The horizontally banded façade with the distinctive bow windows depicts the inner structure of the house on the building envelope and shows its purpose: "People live here!“

Furthermore, the lower half of the building comprises a four-star hotel with 196 hotel rooms, as well as ballrooms, conference facilities and offices. The ground floor and the urban space benefit from this use.
