Claudia Häfeli (b. 1994) grew up in Therwil (BL) and attended high school in Oberwil (BL) before moving to Zurich in 2013 to study architecture. At ETH Zurich, she studied under Gion A. Caminada, Markus Peter and Annette Spiro, among others. During her studies, she gained experience working at various architectural practices in Zurich and Basel.
After completing her Master’s degree at ETH Zurich, she joined the profession as an architect in 2020. Among other projects, she accompanied the Glattpark study commission, won by the firm, through to the construction phase. She was also part of the team behind the first-prize-winning “Grönland” project in Gossau.
Her particular interest lies in residential architecture and the diverse questions surrounding sustainable building. Her experience in reuse, preservation, as well as additions and transformations complements the firm’s longstanding expertise in housing and sustainable approaches to building.
Claudia Häfeli has been a partner at SGGK since 2026.
